American Made EXCELSIOR SYMPHONY SN 11734

Here is another beautifully restored Excelsior Symphony from the Golden Age. The accordion has the original hand-made Excelsior reeds.

- Thoroughly cleaned
- Tuned American swing style
- New shoulder straps
- New bass strap
- New bellows protector
- New bellows tape on all sides
- New bellows straps
- New grill mesh
- New condenser microphones

The accordion is very clean. You will immediately recognize the typical Excelsior sound and overtone richness. The tonal balance between treble and bass is perfect.
The compression is excellent. The reeds are nicely optimized and air efficient. Playing this accordion is a true pleasure.
This American made Excelsior Symphony accordion is a fabulous instrument. It will bring tears of joy in your eyes as you play it.
The fascinating Excelsior sound makes this model impossible to reproduce today.

This accordion has 4 bass switches that play single notes in 3 different octaves, identical to the Hohner Gola.
In fact, Excelsior had this design before Gola implemented it. The idea is to give the performer the option to play
the bass and counter-bass buttons like in a free bass accordion while using the switches to cover 3 octaves.
Often this is referred to as "Galla-Rini" free-bass.

New grill cloth and new bellows tape on all sides

New bellows protector, shoulder straps, bellows straps, and bass strap.
