SANO Stereo Twenty Accordion

It is a pleasure to present a rare SANO accordion, model Stereo Twenty. This is a professional instrument with 3/5 sets of reeds that is lighter than the Stereo Sixty model (4/5 reeds) and has most of the desirable features like mahogany body, double tone chamber from a single piece solid mahogany, full size American walnut keyboard, the best stereo amplification package available at the time etc. (see the specifications below for details). This is an early 60s model made prior to the implementation of the heavy and closed Sano grill. As a result the sound flows much easier and the accordion projects better than the later models.

If you like the Sonola SS20 or Guerrini Superior 2 but prefer lighter weight instrument this Sano Stereo Twenty accordion could be perfect for you. It is about 2-3 lb lighter and has very similar tonal character. The trade off is the lack of out-of-chamber clarinet reeds and the corresponding switches like violin, accordion, and musette. The Sano sound is rich and powerful and could be even bold if you decide to pull the bellows stronger - lots of harmonics, deep bassoon and clarinet, clear far-projecting piccolo. The accordion has been recently serviced and is offered with one year warranty.

The bass strap is new as shown in the picture below.

The interior of the instrument is as impressive as it tonal quality. Only the best quality materials have been used.
