Professional BELL Accordion - Model 2520, made by Scandalli
This professional Bell accordion, Model
2520, was made in Italy by Scandalli in the early 1960s. The Serial
Number is M 539/20. You can think of this accordion as the top of the
line non-chambered version of the Scandalli Super VI. It features 4/5
sets of hand-made "Scandalli Concert" reeds (the same reeds you find
in the legendary 1960's Scandalli Super VI models). The bass reed
blocks are mounted by spring-loaded bolts to properly manage the tension
along the surface of the blocks. The body of the instrument has the
classic design used also for the famous Super VI model Scandalli. It is
carved from aged mahogany and nicely finished throughout. When you play
the accordion you can feel the vibrations with your body. The accordion
is air-tight and efficient, ergonomically optimized and a pleasure to
play.

This Bell accordion sounds rich and clear. It is easy to play. The internal overtones and resonances will make your hearth sing. You can play a variety of music. The bass side...
The bass
reed blocks are mounted by spring-loaded bolts.
This allows for uniform pressure
distribution and fine tuning and prevents warping of the reed blocks.
The Contralto, Alto, and Tenor reeds share a common reed block base. This results in enhanced tonal response and harmonic richness.
The Bass
