This
Da
Vinci accordion is a genuine Guerrini instrument made in
Italy for Milton Mann. (See a letter from Remo Guerrini below the
pictures.) This is
the top of the line model (equivalent to the Guerrini Superior 2)
featuring 4/5 sets of
reeds and a double tone chamber. The original owner replaced the
piccolo reeds with a third set of clarinet reeds. Now the reed
configuration is LMMM with both concert and musette sounds. This
beautiful
accordion was made in the 1980's - a great decade for the Guerrini
company. After the merger with Sonola, Guerrini enjoyed almost a
complete dominance in the Balkans and received recognition in
the US. This particular accordion has been serviced at the
Accordion
Gallery and is in very good condition. It is offered with a full
year
warranty.
