Frontalini Superior VI - SOUND DEMO (headphones recommended)
This Frontalini accordion was designed by the Maxim's Group. The same company owns the Settimio Soprani and Sonola brands. The instrument has a luxurious feel and is a lot of fun to play. It reminds me of Borsini Super Star 2000 Series. The bass side has more tonal variety than Borsini. You will recognize the bass switches configuration from the Settimio Soprani Artist VI and Scandalli Super VI models. The Cingolani hand-made reeds combine the punch of Binci with the harmonic richness of Sabbatini. I like their air efficiency.

The accordion body and reed blocks have been ergonomically optimized. There are some some similarities with the Borsini Super Star models - gracefully round corners with interlocking trim, thin resonating shell, brass tone chamber cover. The choice of these materials and geometry combines tonal depth and brilliance.





The bass side interior...

Please,
note the reed plate profile for the Bass and Tenor reeds (the two
pictures below). The thickness of the reed plates gradually increase as
you go toward the tip of the reed tongue. This design improves the
response time and air efficiency of these large reeds.
