Stroller Accordion Sound Demo
This is a compact size accordion with 17.5" keyboard length and 3 sets of treble reeds. The body was made of mahogany. With light wight of less than 19 lb this will be a very nice accordion for a young person or someone who like a lighter weight instrument. It is a pleasant surprise to see the spring loaded design for the mounting of the bass reeds blocks, only found in the top of the line Scandalli Super VI and Titano Royal/Cosmopolitan models. The bass reeds go down to low A.
I
purchased this accordion locally and literally gave it another life. I
took apart the sound board and cleaned all treble switch slides and the
linkages. Cleaned and leveled the keyboard. Replaced damaged reed
leathers and did some partial rewaxing and spot tuning. The accordion is
clean, with good compression and mechanical action. It plays well and
could be a great first or second/backup accordion for anyone one a
budget. The accordion is offered with a full year warranty and for less
than the cost of its service. You can truly call this a labor of love.

The accordion had not been played in a long time, fortunately stored in dry environment. There is no rust or mold. However, the treble switches were sluggish and I had to disassemble the sound board in order to clean the slides and linkages. Now the switches work smooth as designed.
Cleaned and leveled the keyboard, optimized the action - ready for many more years of happy music.
The treble valves are made of white natural felt and leather and are in very good condition. The keyboard action is great after the recent service.
The spring loaded mounting of the bass reeds blocks and the low-A bass reed configuration were a pleasant surprise on this student model accordion.
