Prestige V Amplified MIDI Accordion
This
is the top of the line Beltuna accordion, fully loaded with features
like hand made reeds, tone chamber, Sennheiser microphones, and
MIDI. This instrument will offer you a variety of sounds
with 5 sets of treble reeds and 5 sets of bass reeds. The reed
configuration is LMMMH. You have LMH with concert tuning and 2
additional sets of clarinet reeds (M2 and M3) with swing/musette
tuning allowing for concert (dry) sounds like bassoon, clarinet,
bandoneon, organ, harmonium as well as a rich selection of swing
and musette sounds when adding M2 (swing) and M3 (musette).
Stereo
Sennheiser microphones with separate volume control and the
full-featured MIDI with touch sensitive control panel on the grill
complement the acoustic accordion. This feature-packed dream
accordion weighs 28.5 lb. The design of the bass body and the access
of the bass buttons make the handling of this accordion practically
very similar to the feel of a 4-reed instrument.

The MIDI
is factory installed and is very neat. The cables are properly routed
and secured,
no clutter or interference with the
acoustic performance of the instrument.
The
lowest octave Bass reeds are mounted on a tone-chambered reed block.
This feature along with the low G reed
configuration
will reward the performer with a deep resonant bass sound with excellent
response.
The 9V
battery for the microphones (upper right corner in the pictures) was
replaced in September of 2022
when the accordion was serviced at the
Accordion Gallery. A stereo cable with gold-plated jacks is included.
