This full size professional accordion is a very special instrument of exceptional quality! The resonant accordion body, in combination with the best reeds and reed blocks results in a powerful rich sound. The reed configuration is LMMH with concert (very mild swing) tuning. The top side plastic corner ornament (used in many of the Crucianelli, Pancordion, and Tinano accordions) has been lost over the years - see the above picture.I don't miss it at all as I play the accordion and you might not even realize its is not there unless I tell you. Will try to order a replacement if still available.

I will mount a new Italian bellows protector before I pass this accordion to its new owner.

I cleaned the grill and replaced the grill cloth.

The accordion body and the tone chamber are made of aged solid mahogany. This accordion was probably made in the early 1960's giving the wood another 60+ years to mature. The sound is very resonant and rich. All reed blocks have been re-waxed. Fantastic double-riveted hand-made reeds!

Basic amplification with two crystal microphones mounted on the reed blocks and a Volume and Tone potentiometers on he grill. The microphones work fine.

The double-riveted hand-made reeds were made by Binci. All reed plates are stamped "PANCORDION".
