This accordion is
absolutely unique. The body, the grill, and the side bass cover are carved
from rare selection of 50+ years naturally aged walnut. The wood is
selected from the roots of the tree to have this rich and fascinating wood
grain pattern. The body is varnished in the tradition of violin making and
not covered in Polyurethane. The results are amazing - enhanced natural
wood grain and improved sound projection. The instrument features the
best quality hand made reeds available today, genuine Italian leather reed
valves, double tone chamber, precise mechanics, and ergonomic body design
optimized for best feel and ease of handling.
It is extremely difficult to find properly cut and aged wood for making
musical instruments. It takes over a year to craft one of these special
accordions. Each instrument radiates warmth. The tonal characteristics are
as unique as the design and appearance of the accordion - truly fantastic!
The accordion comes with interchangeable reed
blocks to give you the authentic sound for any music style. The M2H reeds
(the two out-of-chamber reed blocs) can be replaced with M2'M3' reeds with
musette tuning (see below for details). The instrument has been with a
customer of mine, professional musician, for a few years. He just traded
it in for a 120 bass model. I have inspected the instrument and like it
even more now that it has been played and grown to its full potential.
Think of it as a "showroom model" or a "private recording studio model"
that is offered to a new owner with 30% discount
